It is a bit saggy. not wrinkly or anything like that, just not toned.

How on earth do i tone it?

(in case you might have read my other thread, i am on the case of sorting my appearance out!)

Lurking as noticed I've got this too.

I think its from losing weight in my case - the double chins caused by pregnancies have finally gone but now I have droop.

Cyb · 30/01/2010 14:22

mine tones up whne I shed a couple of pounds. But then I can take on a agunt look. I bet its not as noticeable as you think.

Cyb · 30/01/2010 14:22

by 'agunt' I mean of course, gaunt

VerityBrulee · 30/01/2010 14:23

Eva Fraser facial exercises are supposed to be fab for toning. I'd bet there are youtube videos of how to do them.

My mum swears by L'Oreal revitalift for her jaw line.

I saw your other thread and By Terry Light Expert is magic, it makes you look rested. It's expensive but so worth it

cyb no fat on me, apart from an untoned body. i suffered horrendous hg throughout so only put on 7lb, and had a 7.7lb baby! Although perhaps this is where the ice cream has gone. It is not flab so much as flabby skin, have less defined jaw line.

I shall try those exercises thank you verity

Pavlovthecat this is starting to become an issue for me too. I first noticed it last year when my sister showed me a photo of me - I was turning my head and the skin on my neck had all these folds, that I'd never seen before. It looked awful and now I'm quite concerned about it. I'm 35 so at the age where it all starts sagging, but ironically after having ds2 20 months ago, I weigh about 1 1/2 stone less than I have for years. Maybe losing weight has left the skin looser? I'm seriously considering finding out about neck lifts, as I really don't want to end up with a turkey neck, especially when I'm finally happy with the rest of me!

(Changing the subject, I looked at your profile page and had to say I love Into the Wild - absolutely amazing film

heQet · 31/01/2010 13:31

mouth your vowels in a very exaggerated way. Finishing off with the "U" where you purse your lips and stick them out like a monkey.

Or grin (gurn? showing your bottom teeth) widely until you feel the 'pull' in your jaw and neck, and then do the exaggerated monkey U and hold that too.

Do that 10 times a day and you should see an improvement.

Don't do it in public or you'll get carted off...

ChickensLoveMarmite · 31/01/2010 13:33

Is anyone else sat at here doing the exercises by suggested by Heqet, and getting some very odd looks from their DH/DC?

BendyBob · 31/01/2010 13:42

Ok I've recently bought this(yes I know it looks like a sex toy).

And I have to say it's made a bit of a difference. It feels a bit weird though. A bit like a Tens machine on your neck which takes a bit of getting used to.

PavlovtheCat · 01/02/2010 13:28

haha i have just been sat here doing those exercises! luckily the only person who can see is ds aged 9wks, and he only cares about milk!
