what does your dh wear on an evening on holiday?

1st holiday in ages without the kids. going all inclusive so checked the dress code. It's not formal so anything other than beach wear goes.

I planned on some lovely floral maxi dress's and some shorter smarter dress's for the evening.

Dh planning on wearing very casual shorts and t-shirts we are going to look daft, like we didnt even get dressed in the same room. He is happy to wear something different but cant be bothered shopping for it so told me to have a look. Now i dont have a clue what im looking for.

Any ideas?

Well I must admit dp tends to just wear longer length shorts and usually a white or light coloured cotton shirt in the evenings. I wear little silk dresses or skirts but certainly don't do 'dressy' - so no help at all, sorry.

My DH wears loose linen trousers and a linen shirt.

linen trousers brown leather sandals and short sleeved shirts

Thin white or khaki trousers and a linen shirt or a soft polo-style shirt in washed cotton t-shirting.

I don't really do dresses on holiday though.

shorts and polo/T-shirt, chinos and shirt if it's a bit smarter/colder.

whoops, sorry, make that linen trousers. Course.

Myself, I always find I can't go wrong with the denim minI skirt/ stilletto combo with a halter neck Lycra cropped top

I have to walk about 4 feet behind DH as he wears cotton pyjama bottoms out to dinner - complete with button fly and drawstring !
