I always think wtf. Then I usually come across photos by chance and think I really liked my hair then, why did I not just leave it.

Sadly the same old retort as usual - "it will grow".

I have been known to cry before.

Cyb · 26/01/2010 16:17

Argh! I feel your pain sister.

remember my fringe debarcle of a few weeks back? I just raised my eyebrows for a bit.

My last haircut was not good either (last week). I ended up cutting the back myself

I fear I may have to find a new hairdresser

gah! Thats not good. Its such as shame isn't it. I bet you paid through the nose too. I pay £50 to end up finishing it myself

DecorHate · 26/01/2010 16:23

I still shudder at the memory of the worst haircut ever - wanted a sort of cropped gamine style - got a buzz cut on top and bob at the back. I kid you not. (This was the 80s though). I was pleading with him to stop cutting... never went back again. It looked ok after a few months!

southeastastra · 26/01/2010 16:28

tie it back for six weeks

moonmother · 26/01/2010 16:29

I too have recently had my hair cut- it was level with my bra strap. I wanted a jaw length choppy bob- I have a choppy bob cut right into the back of my neck, and just past the bottom of my ears.

I love it, but in reality I should have kept it longer until the weather got warmer, as I'm just so cold all the time. Luckily I have a lot of scarves to wear to keep my neck warm, and a plenty of hats to choose from when I go outside. The Mums at school think I hate it and that's why I'm wearing the hat- it's not it's just too cold for short hair.

It will grow, I had mine done a week Saturday and already the back is loosing it's 'sharpness'.

It does take a while to get used to it though.

RonaldMcDonald · 26/01/2010 16:32

what about this until it grows?

RonaldMcDonald · 26/01/2010 16:33

RonaldMcDonald · 26/01/2010 16:35

BradSplit · 26/01/2010 17:50

then no one can see

how fast does it grow

OP posts:
Cyb · 26/01/2010 17:50

quicker than you think

jamaisjedors · 26/01/2010 17:52

Maybe take lots of "hair" vitamins to make it grow faster [hopeful emoticon]

I read your post about year 11 and it took me 4 attempts to understand it.

And then I saw them, waving their arms...

Just how bouffant are you normally???

BradSplit · 26/01/2010 17:53

they said
"miss have you had your hair done"
i said " yes" then i winced " its too short inst it?"

they said

"no its nice..... " ( trailing off)

then said ( wiht nose wrinkling)
"Its just its normally all nice like this"
and did the arm wavy gesture
i think they were using the art form of MIME to imitate layers.

at least I hope so and not Babs windsor

OP posts:
BradSplit · 26/01/2010 17:55

i ahd tried to straighten the ends into a blunt look bob,

OP posts:
darkandstormy · 26/01/2010 17:55

Have been known to hibernate, happy in the knowledge I deffo have no split ends.

jamaisjedors · 26/01/2010 17:56

Deffo change hairdressers then.

Perhaps you could repeat the arm wavy thing to your new one to demonstrate?

BradSplit · 26/01/2010 17:57

I will take them with me. Wil terrify her.
i think they would work in Guantanamo tbh.

OP posts:
BradSplit · 26/01/2010 17:57
