Bravissimo

Went shpping today to get some new bra's as mine have just about had it and went to good old M&S to buy the size I normally am which is a 32c. For some strange reason it no longer fits me in any style...woman went and got me a 32D which was fine in the cup but too big around me so she said Im probably a 30D but they didn't have hardly any in that size so couldn't find anything I liked.

So have come away feeling totally deflated and have absolutely no idea what my bra size actually is! Im very short (about 4ft10) with quite small boobs but literally nothing I tried on fitted me. Spoke to my friend this afternoon who is much more well endowed than me and she suggested I go to Bravissimo and get fitted there but I always assumed that they were for bigger sizes than mine but after looking at website they start at a 28D.

It seems to be the back size thats the problem so just wondered if anyone has got a small back size and been fitted at Bravissimo?

Hello

I am a 30E - I find bravissimo is almost the only place that I can find any choice in bras with a back size of less than 32. If there is a shop near you, give them a try.

Much as I love M&S they are HOPELESS for non-standard bra sizes

I LOVE Bravissimo! They have literally changed my life. I'm a 28J, nowhere else would go near me.

Thank you-I have actually found that there is a store near me (well about 20 miles away) so think Im going to go and see what they say.

Can I just ask if you were both wearing a completely different size before you went there? Im just curious as to how they work it out?

I thought I was a 34C but went to Bravissimo as most bras were not fitting me properly anymore. I was actually a 30DD!

They fit you by seeing which bras fit you better. That means no measuring tape and having to change bras in front of someone else which at the time I found a bit embarrassing and uncomfortable. Was expecting to be measured with a bra on!

But like someone else said it changed my life. No more '4 boobage', back pain, bra marks in all the wrong places or worrying about my nipples popping out of my bra!

i am a 30ff and i always buy my bras from there- personal advice and have pretty bras for bigger boobs- i cannot believe i was wearing the wrong size for such a long time

rimmer08 · 27/01/2010 16:50

oh, was wearing 34d before!

ihearttc · 27/01/2010 16:59

So if Ive been wearing a 32/34c for years then there is a good chance I might be in the wrong size as well! Will definitely have to go and see I think-its my birthday next month so DH can treat me I think if I find something that fits!

Thanks all!

I am around a 30G - all my bra's are from Bravissimo. I don't know anywhere else you can get those sizes AND get personally fitted - really worth it IMO, better 1 or 2 decent bra's than a drawerful of badly fitting ones.

ThisIsMyDanceSpace · 28/01/2010 22:04

They are fab. I'd been wearing a 38f but was fitted in a 34HH yesterday! I also bought a dress 2 sizes smaller than I usually wear. They were recommended by my friend who's a 28E and she swears by their regular and sports bras.

Bravissimo are brilliant. I don't live near a shop but have been fitted at the one in Convent Garden when I was in London one day. They can fit you over the phone - I have just done this as I am pregnant and boobs expanding by the minute! They talked through the fit of my current bra then suggested the correct size, arrived in a few days and fits perfectly. Can't recommend them more highly. The same cannot be said for M&S bras/bra fitting.
