GHD's - would you recommend?

I have been offered a new pair of the standard GHD's (real thing) for £75 - are they worth it?

I currently have a pair of (I think) Andrew Collinge ones that must be 3 - 4 years old and work OK...................... they were about £25 in an Argos sale, so I am wondering if the GHD's are so much better?

FWIW, I have very very thick hair!

Yes yes yes love mine. (and I have curly hair)

yes absolutely! get a couple of those long sectioning clips hairdressers use and do a bit at a time, I have thick hair too, but it works and looks lovely and sleek with ghds

red37 · 23/01/2010 08:41

yes defo

love mine

without a doubt. I've tried cheaper versions and they just don't work as well. Bargain price too - mine were about £100.

much much better than any other straighteners I have tried. Go for it

BigTillyMint · 23/01/2010 11:21

OK, you've convinced me!

Just in case.... yes go for it.

If I had £75 I would bite her hand off so I had a back up set!

AliceR1980 · 29/01/2010 08:34

Go for it! I have had mine for nearly ten years now, def value for money - 7.50 per year or less if they last longer. They are brill!
I got mine from www.ghds.co.uk and they were 90 quid so 75 is a bargain
