for Spring
boyfriend style
up to £250
warm enough to wear as a light coat in say March/April with a big scarf if necessary
not black if at all poss
not shiny miami vice/duran duran style fabric but don't mind the Don Jonson rolled up sleeves thang
maybe a light wool/tweed
not denim or jersey
not with puff/pointy shoulders
single breasted

it all started when I tried this on the other day - shape almost perfect, but not velvet, I don't think I can do velvet.

Anyone seen a good one?

Well, I just saw a very plain one on the J Crew website - but that's not much use, is it...
Also just had a look at the Whistles website, but they only have a very boring one (and it's black)

Funnily enough they also had loads of possibles on the Victoria's secret site (didn't know they did clothes too).

Maybe it's a US thing - maybe Banana Republic would have some? there isn't one near me though so would have to make special trip ....might see if they have a website.....

I think the only BR is in Regent St, isn't it? For some reason, I always forget to go there...
They are great for small sizes.
