LTEC - you are doing this on purpose now. You know my love of vintage. Just because I have fallen off the wagon once today, do not think you can persuade me again.

Ronaldinhio · 20/01/2010 16:07

cooooooo

Meglet · 20/01/2010 16:11

I'd fit a lot of it too, the sizes aren't that tiny.

Themasterandmargaritas · 20/01/2010 16:29

Mmmm, I'd love to be tall enough to waft around in a kaftan.....

squeaver · 20/01/2010 16:34

if it's vintage, does that make it ok??

darkandstormy · 20/01/2010 16:37

Ooo yes, the pink one really caught my eye. And a couple of the little black numbers.

bunnymother · 20/01/2010 18:26

Pass me the smelling salts, please, for I feel faint... I think I am about to

Cyb · 20/01/2010 18:32

Looks Like the website for the Victoria And Albert Museum. Not my cup of tea I'm afraid!

bunnymother · 20/01/2010 18:45

I was just at the Victoria and Albert Museum! Now, if you don't like vintage fashion... Well, the jewellery room is heaven on earth. The pieces are superb - really exceptional.

vesela · 20/01/2010 19:09

Who was looking for an evening dress with sleeves? Keep well away from toddlers, though.

Great site!

AngelinaJolly · 20/01/2010 19:46

Oh to have a walk-in wardrobe full of such treasures AND the occasions to wear them!

MissWooWoo · 20/01/2010 19:51

phwoar!

southeastastra · 20/01/2010 19:54

hmm lots of fur on there, suppose it's okay not it's vintage

southeastastra · 20/01/2010 19:54

now

bunnymother · 20/01/2010 20:13

I almost bought vintage mink in New York (same day I saw SJP but that's another (v happy) story). DH shamed talked me out of it as his view is that it perpetuates the industry, vintage or not, by continuing to see fur as desirable. Couldn't disagree with them, so there ended my flirtation with fur. Ooh, but she was yar!

LetThemEatCake · 21/01/2010 00:01

hijacking my own thread here .. themasterandmagaritas, please can you start a thread updating us on your makeup experiment?

BTW - I have always believed that it was fine to wear vintage fur but your dh's take on it is interesting bunny. My feeling has been that if I'd eat it, I'd wear it .. therefore mink not okay but rabbit okay, iyswim. Have been veggie for last 2 years though so not quite sure what to do with my rabbit fur coat ...
