Urgent la redoute childrens sizing

About to order a coat for a three year old anyone know if the sizing is fair or should I be buying smaller/bigger.

I think it is smaller. Just got 18months to 2 years (they call it 2 beware of that!!) and some of the stuff is already fitting my small 17 month old. Also found that with things for DS he had some 2 year old stuff he grew out really quickly. Actually I didn't chose anything for DS this time cos I couldn't work out what size to chose for him.

It's French sizing so usually comes up smaller - I'd definitely buy a size bigger.

La Redoute (this is Vertbaudet, isn't it?) runs the smallest of all the children's sizes that I know - definitely buy bigger. I bought DD some age 2-3 long-sleeved T shirts in September and they're already almost too small - she's 2.10 and 95 cm, which is pretty average, I think.
