Is my new haircut hideous

I asked for longer layers and they are not, its all very choppy and I think it rests on an unflattering position on my chin(s). I don't know if its all a bit bowl shaped DH likes it but I think he is worried to upset me.

It could probably do with being a tad longer but it's not hideous. Is that straight from the hairdresser or once you had washed it?

I think it's nice. When you said long layers, I thought you had really long hair and that they'd chopped too much into it. I don't think the layers are too short, it suits you. Plus your hair is in fab condition, super shiny!

I think its shiny because its dark brown and straight. I use Sunsilk brunette conditioner which seems to help?

I have a similar shaped face and have to say I think slightly longer looks slightly better. No way is it hideous though!

I think it is rather nice. I would go for longer myself, although maybe only and inch. But the good thing with hair, of course, is that it grows. Looks very nice on you.

Thanks for the replies. I think an inch longer and i will like it more. I like the cut but I think its shorter than I expected.

It is naturally that straight yes. Was an arse when it was long and I tried to curl it.

Looks like they gave you a sort of a bob instead of what you asked for, but it's very nice and chic.

I love it I'd love a fringe like that but my hair has a bit of a wave in it and a fringe just won't sit right.

I had that EXACT haircut a couple of months and was also a bit about it cos i thought the hairdresser had taken too much off too but i got used to it very quickly and forgot how fast it grows!

Think it looks lovely and beautifully shiny from the back and nice from the front. A good classic cut.

Next time, in about 6 to 8 weeks, I would have slight play with it and go for a more angled bob, leaving it longer at the front, or a choppier, messier cut.
