Title says it all, was a student, prone to blushing and getting flushed in bars and parties etc
So I purchased a green cream from The Body Shop which you meant to wear under your foundation to down down rosy complexions
I thought I was looking pale and interesting until some-one (a cute boy) asked me why my face was green
I'm trying to think of some other interesting style statements that I have made over the years, there must be plenty

I had some funny pink plastic type bendy things which you put in your hair to make it go curly
You have to sleep overnight with them in for best effect which was uncomfortable
Bellissima, only the best people have green faces it would seem

I used to spend the whole day in tiny plaits (pre-crimpers) and thought I looked like Kate Bush in the nightclub.

Once on holiday in Greece I got a sunburned face and smothered it in concealer. Looked grey under the striplight in the restaurant.

I had one of those hideous chunky cardis bought from Camden Market, handknitted by a Bolivian woman - bright green with red and blue ethnic pattern on. I once pulled out an actual 18in long black silky hair from it.

I had a bright, almost acid orange sleeveless polo neck which I thought was not a problem with my D-cup boobs.

Also had a henna incident when I left it on too long and went orange, only to go in to college next day and a girl I was friendly with (who was already a pale ginger shade) had done hers as well, with equally disastrous results, and everyone thought we'd done it together like a couple of 14 year olds..
