I'm tempted to get one of these in charcoal. HOWEVER not sure that I can justify as I already have DKNY Cozys in black, purple and pink !

If I'm honest although I love the weight and feel of the cozy I'm not that good at styling it. It doesn't look properly done when I wrap it ballet style etc etc

< trying to justify further purchase even though I've already spent loads this month >

I seem to remember you bought a cozy too - how do they compare - how do you wear your travelwrap? Would it be a useful addition to my wardrobe?

LetThemEatCake · 14/01/2010 20:34

hi Zembo! well, funny you should ask as I greatly regret buying the cozy and am 99% sure that it's going on ebay this weekend. It's too darn flappy for my liking, which would annoy me hugely even were it not for the fact that flappiness + 3 small children = impossible

All those different ways of styling it don't work for me either. I'm too pear-shaped to wear it ballerina style and most of the other ways look daft even on the models.

Re; the travelwrap - I've lived in it ,indoors and out. I chuck it over jeans and t-shirt for an instant shot of loungey, glamorous insouciance and snuggle in it on the sofa at night. I also keep it on the bed to wrap around my shoulders at night when bfing.

DC3 was getting so keen on the feel of cashmere that I bought him a My Little Travelwrap for Xmas.

my advice is ebay one or two of the cozys and buy a travelwrap

you work for them right?

LetThemEatCake · 14/01/2010 20:38

how gloriously predictable that you would say so.

OP posts:
RolandButter · 14/01/2010 20:38

i wondered if you did.
thats all!

LetThemEatCake · 14/01/2010 20:40

fair enough. I don't, however.

have you seen the price of those they do look cosy though...

Zembo · 14/01/2010 21:52

Thanks LTEC - the travelwrap sounds v useful indeed! I'm not ready to be parted from my cozys yet, must try a bit harder with them first.

Will sleep on it for a few nights i think. Wonder if it might be reduced further - just spent a couple of hundred at the Brora sale yesterday so feeling a tad guilty.

Sammy74 · 15/01/2010 10:12

Have you seen the travel wraps for men?! God, I cant stop laughing and it's only 10am.

Hopefully · 15/01/2010 11:23

What is a travel wrap?!?!? I feel I can't possibly live without one, but it looks like a pashmina and I have approximately 1,000 of them.

VinegarTits · 15/01/2010 11:34

Oh excellent, £180 for a shawl, i will order 3

Hopefully · 17/01/2010 11:40

Can't believe none of you have tried to persuade me to buy one yet. They can't be that great

LetThemEatCake · 17/01/2010 11:43

I don't want to be accused of working for them again!! am wearing mine today

OP posts:
Zembo · 17/01/2010 12:38

Almost decided I'm going to order one tonight - just need to check dimensions to make sure it won't completely drown me as I'm petite - size 8 and 5ft 1!!

VerityBrulee · 17/01/2010 16:45

I warned you about the cozy, I have 3 and while I am trying to make an effort to wear the navy and the heather, it's curtains for the black one.

We'll have to co-ordinate so we don't ebay them at the same time!
