My coat is long but thin and i am freezing! I need a thicker maybe padded coat.
I know this should be in wanted but who looks there?

Please, please, has anyone got a size 16 long and very warm coat they want rid of?

Can't afford the price of a new one. Have looked in sales but still pretty ££. Plus only really have a bit of money spare in Paypal not in the bank. Checked all sites which takes paypal and the only one i found that looked OK was OOS in my size!

Big TIA.

Thanks for the offer Star. Think medium is 12-14 so might not fit me.

Ok no problem Anyone else who sees this and wants it - maybe someone going on a ski holiday soon - it's a very nice coat! And just for the price of postage

FabIsGoingToBeFabIn2010 · 08/01/2010 08:52

Tortoise - I have no idea what t ask. Whenever I suggest a price for things I always get it wrong.

It is as new as I have worn it only a handful of times. Hasn't been washed. Is Per Una. Keeps you warm in the cold but not to hot if the weather is mild. Was £79 new. Whatever you think is fair, if you don't fancy it I will ebay so no pressure if you have changed your mind.

Tortoiselookingforwardto2010 · 08/01/2010 10:30

I am terrible at making offers lol! If i was buying off Ebay my max bid would probably be around £20-£25 but not sure if that would be enough as yours is nearly new. Definitely want it though .

I was hoping for a little bit more [sorry]

£35 plus postage. (Happy to hold for a bit, but again, no pressure. I feel bad I can't let it go for less.)

Tortoiselookingforwardto2010 · 08/01/2010 13:13

Any idea how much postage is? Not sure i have quite that much in paypal. Will go check.

Sorry, I haven't weighed the coat yet. Been a bit full on today with the kids, cooking, watching labouring polar bears and trying not to pass out. .

Tortoiselookingforwardto2010 · 08/01/2010 17:58

Lol! I have been watching the polar bear too! And trying not to fall flat on my arse walking to shops! Only have around £20 in paypal but could send postal order if that would work for you?

Hi

I improvised with my kitchen scales, a basket and a toy box lid and postage is going to be about £6.

Tortoiselookingforwardto2010 · 09/01/2010 11:27

lol!
So About £40 all in? Have £17 in paypal!

Could maybe pay part paypal part Postal order? Would that work for you?

FabIsGoingToBeFabIn2010 · 09/01/2010 11:49

Would you be able to do all paypal please as DH says you have to pay for PO d also I can't get out to the post office to cash it. We are snowed in and 15cm more snow is due tonight. Thinking about it, there is no rush to pay me as I can't get out to post it today.

Tortoiselookingforwardto2010 · 09/01/2010 12:02

Will have to try and make some money somehow. Will have a sort out and Ebay something.
May have to miss out.Depends how long it will take to make the money TBH as i really need a coat sooner rather than later as mine is so thin.

I will let you know when I am able to get out to the post office. It is much too far to walk and I can't drive in this weather but I will keep it for you as I haven't offered it to anyone else or listed it on ebay and I won't until you say you have found/bought another one.

Tortoiselookingforwardto2010 · 09/01/2010 14:11

MNing on the wii. Not done this before! Looks like i will have to leave the coat . DD1 broke my laptop screen so now i have to make about £60 to buy a new screen. Then my brother will try and fix it for me. Thanks for offer.
