nomorechoc - is this your first DC?

My breasts were spaniels' ears after BFing my first - barely an A cup. By the time I had my second DC (4 years later) they were much improved. I am now 4 years post-BFing DC2 and have settled at a C Cup.

IME, it takes the breasts a while to recover from BFing (having been so abundant and full during those months) but they do improve with time. Give yourself a year and see where you are

In the meantime, if you fancy pampering yourself and using a product to help skin tone etc, the Mama Mio products are fabulous and really do what they say on the tin

what tulpe said.

DC3 is 3.6 and I'm only really recovering now! In the meantime, I recommend a really good bra (I prefer to call it 'shaped' than 'padded' ). I have to keep reminding myself that it's a physical mark of having my beautiful babies.

I bought myself a lovely LBD in that period when my waist was almost back to normal but my boobs hadn't deflated - had to give to charity shop a few months later as nothing worse than something which displays cleavage you aint got . Going back on the pill helped a little bit, but yes I now spend a bit more on bras and get nice 'shaped' (nice one misshardbroom!) ones.

3rd vote for "shaped" bras here too :-) I find the balconette style from La Senza, which are moulded rather than padded, give me a lovely shape - they support right under the breast giving you more shape at the top, iyswim.

I always found that traditional "push up", wonderbra type bras made my post-BFing boobs look awful. There isn't enough tone in the breast to keep them pushed up, so whilst they look great initially, I found that my breasts would disappear after 20 minutes of wear as they slid down inside the cups or, worse, kind of fell out the front!!

thanks ladies - good advice re the bras and will def treat m,yself to some of those lovely mama mio products.
it is actually dc2 - seemed to be less flat after dc1, but is early days and i think will feel batter once the rest of me has shrunk a bit as well. hasnt put me off breastfeding tho and would still totally advocate it
