Can you 'stretch' leather boots..?

I have had some boots delivered from Jones that I love but they are really narrow. I guess I can try and break them in wearing thin tights or something but can shoe makers help or can you buy anything to soften up the leather??

you can get shoe stretchers, but not sure where from. They will stretch a bit but not hugely or the leather will crack - how much too narrow are they? if they're really tight you might have to send them back.

You can get a spray which is designed to stretch leather. You spray it on and then wear the boots and they "soften" to the shape you want them to be. John Lewis sells it, but I imagine it's also available elsewhere.

Nooo - I can't send them back I love them! (And there are no more in the sale to buy!) They are a bit too tight for comfort. They could get better. I just want to wear them!! I will look into leather softening spray...

yes if u have chest freezer fill boots with water and freeze upright. if no chest freezer fill boots with porridge oats and add water in both ways line with thick bin bag. oats method leave 2-3 days. did oats with doc martins and it works-good luck x

if you hair dryer them before you put them on that stretches them

no don't bother. you will destroy the boots and that feeling of pinched feet is horrible.
