Soap & Glory skincare or Liz Earle?

Just wondering really as I've recently started using some of S&G body stuff and I'm tempted by their facial stuff despite being a 3 year die-hard Liz Earle fan.

Anyone tried it?

Dunno. But search threads on Oil Cleansing here for the ultimate in cheap and effective skincare. Lots of MNers have binned Liz Earle in its favour.

CybilsDrivel · 02/01/2010 20:49

Welll funny you shoudl say that I tried this morning the S and G pore refining mask and I have to say its grrrrreat. Left my skin very even in tine, NO blocked pores whatsoever. Verily I was impressed.

Liz earle...i know she has loads of fans on here, but I found it too creamy for me (the cleanse and polish) I prefer Time Delay

OracleInaCoracle · 02/01/2010 20:49

i love, love, love the catch a wrinkle in time moisturiser. fab stuff, really brilliant!!

pookabelle · 02/01/2010 20:49

Well I've just gone back to Liz Earle. I think it is really effective.

pookabelle · 02/01/2010 20:50

I've just gone back to Liz Earle after about a year.

brimfull · 02/01/2010 20:51

I tried the oil method but I prefer Liz Earle and have gone back to that atm. I do like the Boots Time delay as well .

Soap and Glory -tis all packaging and hype isnt it

CybilsDrivel · 02/01/2010 20:51

No I think its actualy quite good, the body butter is fab. But it does look 'jokey'

bluebump · 02/01/2010 20:52

I got some Liz Earle for Christmas and i'm back to being a fan again.

i thnk it depends on the person. i have quite "young" skin and am prone todry patches. S&G seems to lift my complexion while keeping spots under control.

SirCharlieStinkySocks · 02/01/2010 20:58

Well I'm going to try their pore refining mask tonight actually after buying some in Boots today. I've already tried their Greatest Scrub of All and it's brilliant, it was in the hatbox dp bought me for Christmas. I have just ordered a bunch of Liz Earle stuff as it's the only thing I trust with my fussy skin but thinking more of the convenience of actually owning skincare products I can actually just go and buy in the shop

Let me know what you think about mask charlie

SirCharlieStinkySocks · 02/01/2010 21:02

I will do Cybil, not sure if it's for my skin type really as it tends to be quite dry-ish but I always suffer with blackheads on my nose and chin so thought it would be worth a go. Incidentally my New Year's Resolution is to actually keep up with my skin care. No point loving Liz Earle stuff if I don'd do it regularly enough

See someone has already posted about Catch A Wrinkle.

I had the opposite view.

It's given me angry red spots

It does smell nice though.. like smarties.
