May I ask how you came to this happy conclusion?
Have you rediscovered horses?
I remember them being rather thick and nylony back in the day...

Flightattendant · 02/01/2010 21:34

No horse, no...I was in scats looking for, well actually looking at the lovely coats too I got addicted to the place when we got our rabbit and chicken stuff there.

These jods are not nylony, no sir. They are like thick, warm, strong grey felt. Ooooh they are woolly and gorgeous with a little plaid panel on each knee...and a high waist, and tapered legs to fit inside boots.

They are BLISS.
I am going back tomorrow to get some waterproof ones.

...they are also now slightly saggy round the arse.

But no matter. I am in lurve.

I was wearing my jods earlier (and had actually been riding), and was contemplating just how much more flattering than leggings they were. On days when I don't have to be seen in public after riding I do keep them on

I'm so late to this

Jilly Cooper knew all about the flattering thing

sadly my thighs don't 'do' flattering, whatever I put them in, but they are so so comfy.

I am looking forward to getting dressed today. You may laugh.
