christmas present - guerlain lumiere (I think) - any idea what I am supposed to do with it?

I am a bit of a make up dunce, I just tend to use a bit of blusher and mascara, at best. My MIL gave me a bottle type thing of something called (I think) Guerlain Lumiere for christmas. It is some kind of glittery type powder that sprays out. I have absolutely no idea what it is for, and too embarrassed to ask MIL! Any ideas?

Can you google it? I remember they used to do a perfume called lumiere - I wore it as a teen. Is it a sort of shimmery perfume thing? Am intrigued now!

ah, had another hunt and found the webpage about it here

still not really sure how to use it properly though...

and totally got the name wrong before - memory clearly frazzled after too much christmas champagne

lol at the application tips

'Spray the powder on face, shoulders, arms, décolleté and hair to sublimate and illuminate the skin."

wtf does sublimate the skin mean

Oh thanks for posting the link - now I can stop wondering what it is, sort of... It's a pretty bottle!

tiredfeet · 02/01/2010 07:32

yes, the bottle is lovely , but its quite glittery, bit worried I'll look like a human glitterball if I use it!
