Name changed for this. I'm on some fairly strong hormonal type drugs. Result facial hair. Do I wax, electrolyse or what? Plucking is making my face sore. Please help, sick of looking like Brian Blessed

Electrolysis is agony and doesn't work in my experience.

Friends have had laser treatment which they raved about

I have waxed and threaded in the past both accetptable to me.

i recently had my eyebrows threaded, i react if i have them waxed, and i was very pleased with the results, she got all the fine hairs above my eyebrows and i didn't go red, the pain was like an elastic band being rubbed against my skin and catching on a hair, nothing like the pain of waxing. I was tempted to go and have my side burns done too, pregnancy has given me a hairy face, baby due in a couple of weeks so will see if it all drops out, if not i'm having it threaded.

Thanks all. I had not considered threading, how long does the hair have to be for that? Will also look into laser treatment. I joke about it but it gets me down a bit sometimes.

i don't think the hair has to be any certain length for threading.

I look into laser removal but it doesn't stop hair growing back if its hormonal hair ( from pregnancy) not sure about medication. I looked into buying the boots one seemed quite expensive and hard work and not everyone got good results.

I suppose it would be too optimistic to hope any thing would get rid permanently, but I'd happily settle for it growing back less quickly, and the hair being softer.
