What's fashionable in Italy atm?

Off to Italy next week but I need to get my friends & family some pressies first. There are a few London shops my best mates love but I'm not sure what to get. If I bought some Uggs for my 19yo cousin would she think I'm mad or a brilliant? Are cowboy boots still big?

LTEC had nice Christmas though cannot wait to escape to Italy for a week. I need good food and good friends! Hope your Christmas was lovely esp with your new LO and that 2010 brings you lots to smile about xx
