Ok, so the dress I have dreamed up in my head is like this; Navy/Midnight blue, scoop or v-neck, full length, preferable with some structure around the waist and with long or 3/4 sleeves.
Very simple and elegant costing no more than £300 - anyone seen it anywhere????

When you say 'full length' do you mean like this? Or floor length?

tethersjinglebellend · 27/12/2009 12:04

Possibly this?

VicarInaTinselTuTu · 27/12/2009 12:19

Coast do some lovely dresses

here

but cant see any with long sleeves.

littledawleybaubles · 27/12/2009 14:52

Thanks all - I really like that Phase Eight dress but I do mean floor length, it's for a black tie ball. Have looked at Coast but none of them are very forgiving for the old bingo wings!! Could maybe do strapless with a bolero...

Can't find with all your criteria but some...?

Someone else recommended the non-maternity Isabella Oliver site to me and some of their dresses look lovely full length with sleeves but only in black red

lovely but no sleeves

noddyholder · 27/12/2009 15:09

i am going to buy this Some great bargains on here

littledawleybaubles · 27/12/2009 15:29

[sad[ WillSelf. The first dress you linked to is perfect shape wise, I only fancied blue for a bit of a change, was all set to buy but they only have it in a size 10 which I am not.

Noddy - love the Westwood but it's not dressy enough for the event. The search continues.....

Have one made for you - I waste far too much time playing around on there but it is a good way of getting what you want if you're happy with something plain.

domesticextremist · 27/12/2009 15:54

I know its not blue but it is lovely...here

domesticextremist · 27/12/2009 16:13

Tries again with some sleeves and floor length (I know the print is wrong though...) here

domesticextremist · 27/12/2009 16:14

closest but £150 over budget here

tethersjinglebellend · 27/12/2009 16:26

Navy blue long dress...?

tethersjinglebellend · 27/12/2009 16:29

Or something different and over budget... but a bargain nonetheless

tethersjinglebellend · 27/12/2009 16:30

in red?

littledawleybaubles · 27/12/2009 20:34

tethersjinglebellend - some inspired choices, I might order the navy blue long dress but fear that it might be a bit unforgiving on my post baby number 3 size 16 14 frame - in theory, it's the perfect dress!!

Rosewater - I once ordered a dress from StyleShake and it was truly shite!!! Don't waste your time

domesticextremist - love the over budget one but have rather large norks so it may not work.

Am I being difficult.....?

this?

A bit safe perhaps, but a good shape.
Might need a wrap for arms.

AngryPixie · 28/12/2009 07:12

also comes in petrol blue

littledawleybaubles · 28/12/2009 19:52

Thanks Angry but that's a little too ballgown-ey iyswim? Still searching!!

OP posts:
AngryPixie · 28/12/2009 20:52

This is more simple here but no sleeves

littledawleybaubles · 28/12/2009 21:37

So if I was a size ten and had a healthier budget this or this would do it

There are some gorgeous Ossie Clarke dresses there too but the largest is a 12: this time next year...
