OK. What would you buy for an almost 18 year old skinny minny?

I would like to buy my niece something lovely for Christmas, in terms of clothes. She's blonde, about 5 ft 2-4, probably size 10 at most. She has a boyish figure - i.e. no curves, not massively endowed in terms of norks. She is a girly girl, IYSWIM.

I'm happy to spend up to £50 - have already bought her other stuff.

Any ideas very gratefully received!

My dd is almost 18 and I have bought her some cosy pj's form gap. The flannel tartan trouser ones with jersey top. A snuggly dressing gown from DP.
Tweezerman tweezers
Mac eyeshadow
snood
jumper

look at "Henley's". tis v in with that age group (and v expensive obv)

JaneiteQuiteRight · 19/12/2009 13:15

The French Connection sale has started and has some v nice knitwear etc.

Clothes are a bit of a minefield though. How about a bag?

Thanks! Some interesting ideas - and I have never heard of Henley, so will check that out too.

id give her something cool from benefit or urban decay
or give her cash tbh

JaneiteQuiteRight · 19/12/2009 15:33

Urban Decay stuff a v good idea - and safer than clothes.

Otherwise a Union Jack clutch bag or purse, with a Topshop voucher inside.

I went for some perfume in the end - Paul Smith Extreme - but I'm having a bit of a wobble about it now - do you think that's too old/boring/middle aged?

juicy couture stuff is very "in".....maybe a tracksuit?

also "pauls boutique" stuff ie bag again very fashionable.

both will prob set you back your 50 quid though

you can find all the stuff on ebay
