Boots - a confession

Feeling hugely guilty to have purchased another pair of boots (Fly Mes) although I did use the last of my leaving work John Lewis vouchers.
I already own at least a dozen pairs:
Two Duo Ravenna, black and brown
Two knee-high suede Duo, purple and maroon
One pr over-knee black leather, bought in Russell and Bromley sale two years ago
Three black suede, one over knee, one high heeled and knee-length, one shorter with buckles (Duo)
One pair heeled brown, M&S
Two pairs Uggs, one pair appropriated by eldest daughter, as are the ancient Ravenna browns, see above
One pair Next ankle boots for dog walking

All purchased over the last four years. It all started when I lost a large amount of weight and could actually fit into boots. Now I can't seem to stop. And I'm strangely ambivalent about shoes, just a couple of pairs of pumps all summer!
The Mes pair fit ok but are a little bit snug although the ones I tried on in the shop were fine so I think they will be ok. The question is, I obviously don't need them and, in truth, this is a Christmas present to myself. Should they stay or should they go back?

I know where you are coming from...I really want some biker style boots but have already had two new other pairs this winter. So I went in the wardrobe to contemplate all other boots and found that I have 15 pairs.......
In my defence they do range from over a number of years and because I always have lots none ever get worn out. Also am a hoarder so have kept for instance pointy heeled style that may come back round.
Also there are some that are just for snow or rain etc.
I think with boots you always need different types / colours to go with various types of outfit......well that's my excuse.
So in summary I would keep them!!!

Take them back if you are not sure about them.
