I want thin, gauzy, luxurious wool polonecks for layering

I went into H&M today and bought a couple of their cheap jersey polonecks for everyday layering but I really want thin polonecks in that wool/jersey stuff that is ultra fine, sometimes gauzy/see through - does anyone know the sort I mean?

I know they tend to be quite expensive but I haven't been able to find exactly what I want. Toast generally makes stuff in this fabric - like this - but this year their poloneck style is not fitted enough/too cowl necked for me.

Someone linked to this on another thread and the poloneck the model is wearing under that shirtdress looks almost perfect......but it doesn't seem to exist

Help me please

Something like this? I have been looking for one, too. I've been wearing Uniqlo Heat Tech polo necks which are warm and layer well.

Not bad, quite expensive though and it sort of looks too woolly - sorry I know I am being fussy now.

I want something that can withstand frequent machine washing too.

I ordered this in the taupe earlier today, if it's any good I will get the black too when it comes back in stock.( I used a 25% discount code so came out at £51 something.)

Forgot about uniqlo - will go and have a look now.

The H&M ones are not bad for £7 actually for everyday.

Have you tried Massimo Dutti? I have 2 that are exactly what you're suggesting from there. Think they were £22 each.

Gap were doing some lovely super fine 100% merino wool jumpers a year or two ago. Perfect for layering and really warm. I wore mine so much it now has several holes, but I still put it on underneath other jumpers when it's cold.

LTEC - I checked out your bohemia link but the polonecks all out of stock
