They're covered in (dry) mud.

Can they go in machine?

Thanks in advance.

P.S.

Do you use regular detergent or something else?

Excuse my ignorance.

I just use regular detergent.

hohoholepew · 14/12/2009 18:27

I just stick them in a regular wash.

I put mine in the wash, infact, I do mine, DPs and DD's all together....lol makes a real racket.

Squirt of normal detergant and if really grimy, a SMALL squirt of washing up liquid

BikeRunSki · 14/12/2009 20:35

What every one has just said. Pillow case, 30 degree wash, ordinary detergent.

webchick · 14/12/2009 22:27

If u don't want to machine wash them (mine doesn't like shoes!) scrape off the dry mud then wash in kitchen sink with fairy, old nailbrush & toothbrush. When rinsed stuff with newspaper or a few old handtowels for a day or so.

almay292 · 14/12/2009 23:04

I don't have any but I'd do the same as with any other canvas shoes/trainers and bung them in the washing machine on a low setting.

Converse have become such a mumsy staple over the past couple of years don't you think? It's like somebody issues mothers with a pair the day their child starts school.
