What harm can leaving sweat...

...on the scalp/hair do?

I workout (and get incredibly sweaty) 3/4 times per week.

I don't wash my hair after every workout - probably once in 1/2 weeks.

Does anyone know of any effects this could have on my scalp/hair?

You only wash your hair every week or so, or am I misunderstanding?

I can't comment on any harm that might come to your hair, but do you not find that it makes it really greasy and smelly?
