Should I tell my sister she needs to pluck her eye brows?

She does, but I'm scared to tell her. I'm not usually so rude, and she's very good with quick retorts.

She really does need to though!

No it's rude. If she wanted to she would.

hohoholepew · 09/12/2009 19:51

or buy her tweezers for christmas.

Earthstar · 09/12/2009 19:51

just tell her one of your friends had hers done at Harvey Nicks and that she looks 10 years younger...that should do the trick

LynetteScavo · 09/12/2009 19:54

I forgot to say they are half plucked, and growing back, IYSWIM - so she obvioulsy has plucked them at some point.

I had a friend in the 90s who had massive caterpillars for eyebrows. I said to her, ever so sweetly and not out of the blue, (it was during a conversation about beautitions and facials), "When you next go to have a facial you should ask her what kind of shape would enhance your face for your eyebrows. She might have a suggestion that could really open your face up. I wish i had lovely eyebros like you and not plucked to death, you coulddo so much with them. Another wine?". Or somesuch. She was interested then, and had it done!

God, if her sister can't tell her, then who can? It's like having someone you trust to tell you if you have bad breath (DD and I have an agreement on that score).
