How would I get my hair to look like this?

this

Mine is the same length, colour and has a natural frizzy tendencies wave to it so in theory it should be easy but last night when I left it to dry naturally instead of blow drying it straight I looked like this instead:

this

Any ideas how I can achieve naturally wavy, effortlessly chic hair without kidnapping my hairdresser and forcing her to live in my bathroom?

Dry it until it is almost dry and the velcro rollers until it is bone dry.Spritz of shine spray and done

hot rollers

Do you think rollers would work? I would have thought they would make it go very curly as in individual ringlets rather than the kind of solid wave she has, if that makes sense?

the bigger the rollers the more relaxed the curl/wave

no not at all

the curls don't come out the size of the roller but about 3-4 times the size, so there will be only one or two 'waves' in the whole length of your hair, like the HJNTIY pic

velcro rollers are cheap, try it for yourself
