i think it is nicer in purple but depends on your colouring i suppose... teal makes me look washed out and ill

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 03/12/2009 11:59

ah thats no good . I always get 8-10 from that site as they are always a bit bigger than you'd expect.

The gold looks a bit brash against the purple maybe?

No tights - but shoes will be a tricky one.

It's a tough one - with the purple or teal I wouldn't want matching shoes. Nor would I want gold shoes.

But then what shoes would I want?

They would have to be round closed toe and very high. hmmmm

TigerFeet · 03/12/2009 12:05

hmmm brash maybe... but quite a dark shade so might get away with it

order both and see

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 03/12/2009 14:49

I've ordered purple and teal they will be here saturday at the latest so I will report back.

Now shoes.

They are here! I'm amazed.

But I really can't decide which looks best. I think I'd need a fake tan (bleurgh) to carry off the teal one.

p.s the material is actually fine it doesn't cling and doesn't look cheap. The sequins are quite dull but I like that.

at you having the boobs to be able to wear it

but yes, it's fab!

the purple looks better in the pic, is it the same nice deep colour in rl?

After TDWP linked to that site on another thread, I was compelled to buy a dress:

www.pretaportobello.com/shop/dresses/dresses/casimira-black-circus-print-wrap-dress.aspx

For work

and am now contemplating this one:

www.pretaportobello.com/shop/dresses/dresses/trollied-dolly-floral-tea-dress.aspx

....for play.

Love the one you are buying TDWP, but I am older than you, and although tall and reasonably slim with small norks, dismayingly my knees are going south (wrinkles!!) so feel like I have to pick dresses I can wear opaques/leggings with.

Anyone else with this problem? I'm only 37 fgs! Perhaps it all the running....
