Hi,

Can anyone recommend a face cream/balm/serum for a new mum who looks tired , I want to aim for a healthy glowing skin look. Sometimes get spotty so nothing too heavy. Thanks

Hey Busty, Aldi do a good cream thats cheap, they do a daycream and a nightcream, the night one is a little thick, so may not be good for your skin, but the day one is brill, helps wrinkles and brightens your skin.
Hope this helps

I use the Estee Lauder Night Repair serum stuff. It's amazing. I love it.

not cheap but very good

It lasts ages and hasn't given me any adverse reactions, and I have stupidly sensitive skin.

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm - am a recent convert. It is very, very good.

I 2nd the flash balm (going to ask Santa for some) I read a review on the top 50 budget beauty buys and bought a sainsbury's skin therapy day cream on their advice and it is fab only £4 too!! my skin is much more radiant (fairly new mum myself!)so im very pleased

Just an alternative suggestion.

After having DS, I bought this from the Body shop Glow Enhancer

I wore this and it did seem to give my very tired (very pale!) face a soft glow which hid the worst.

I know that this wasn't the OP request but it might be worth looking at if you have a Body Shop nearby.

Thanks, I borrowed some flash balm from a friend, and I couldn't see the difference, do you have to keep using it for it to work? Or is there no hope for me?

Laura Marcier tinted moisturiser was recommended to me on a previous thread, duely bought and love it. Very light on and gives a lovely healthy glow.

Dermalogica is so amazing. It has transformed my skin. It is price but so worth it. I would give up a lot of stuff before I'd give up that.

Body Shop vitamin E cream, tinted mosituriser, in natural works for me (I am spotty sometimes)
