Try TM Lewin - they have lovely shirts, most for cufflinks.

Bow ties are only for dinner suits and gynaecologists

Good comment Dib re the gynae

Nooooo. Step away from the novelty cuff links MrLunar. And you can forget any amusing socks while you are there.

I got DH some amazing glass cufflinks on Etsy which look fab and are not naff in any way

Agree - novelty cufflinks are right up there with daffy duck ties..........

Double cuff shirt (TM Lewin, Thomas Pink), in any colour but white, with grey suit and cufflinks will look fine. Wear without tie/bow tie and keep top button undone. very nice and stylish. Oh and make sure his shoes are polished and his socks are dark (non-novelty ). Lace up shoes for preference. Oh and no ridiculously pointed or blunt ended toes on shoes either.

Am total snob re mens clothing.

Apologies but hope its helpful
