Pretty please!! I can never think of present ideas for my Dad's wife. Thought one of these might make a good idea for Xmas. Budget is up to £15.

I've had a bit of a google but haven't found anything yet.

Accessorize?

kateecass · 27/11/2009 15:29

Ooh hadn't thought of accessorize. Thanks! I like their dragonfly one and they have 25% off code. Shame the pictures aren't great.

www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_37484+JRGF013492_-1

I got this for a friend. It's lovely in 'person'

kateecass · 27/11/2009 15:45

Hadn't thought of Debenhams either. Their pictures aren't great either. Not really sure of her taste so might have to go for the safest one. Liking the dragonfly one on the Debs site too I must have a thing for dragonflies!

I've just been looking at these, also for a present, a little over £15 but I think very pretty.

Curiousmama · 27/11/2009 18:49

these are lovely and bonus there's 20% off at the moment.

Curiousmama · 27/11/2009 18:50

ooo there's one on that site for £8.50 looks nice too.

badietbuddy · 27/11/2009 18:50

Would she go for vintage (second hand to you and me )? You'd have endless possibilities then.

spicemonster · 27/11/2009 18:56

How about one of these covered in recycled kimono fabric? There's 20& off too - MUDISC18 is the code.

Curiousmama · 27/11/2009 19:49

I ended up spending over £50 on christmas presents on the Past times site...although got over £10 off and free delivery and am now almost sorted

kateecass · 27/11/2009 21:22

Thanks so much. Too many to choose some can't decide! I like these...

blue dragonfly

another dragonfly

cream pale

blue heart

Oh, I don't know, think the H Samuel cream round one is probably the best. What do you think??

Curiousmama · 27/11/2009 22:53

I like the monsoon one best out of the ones you've just posted.

NickeeS · 27/11/2009 23:08

Curiousmama · 28/11/2009 12:52

It's nice to get organised. I couldn't be one of those that does it all on Christmas Eve.

kateecass · 28/11/2009 14:15

I know Curiousmama! This is the most organised I have ever been. I'm amazing myself. MN can take the credit really. Think I started getting a few things in October.

I have to buy for mine and DH's family, then there's the people DH has to get things for at work. Plus, I have DS 3.5 and DD 15 months who don't enjoy shopping!

OP posts:
Curiousmama · 29/11/2009 22:04

Glad to hear it I'm almost done now. I used to be very organised when I worked before I had kids. I have more time now really but a lot more to buy. Apart from dp, the boys, exdh, exMIL, my mam her bf, sister, neice her 2 dd's her partner... my friends buy for me too so they alone cost around £100! I tried getting them to do a bran tub this year but they'd already bought. I don't buy for my brother, sil, their 3 dc's and their dc's 6 dc's between them thank goodness! We all just send cards although I tend to be late with them

lissielouskissingsantaclaus · 29/11/2009 22:07

debenhams have some lovely ones!

kateecass · 05/12/2009 11:34

Got the Monsoon one. It's lovely in real life too. They have lots of pretty things like that too.
Their childrenswear was rubbish though. Couldn't find a single thing I liked and I usually love it all!

Thanks all, getting nearer to the bottom of my huge list!

OP posts:
claireinthecommunity · 05/12/2009 14:00

Glad to hear you got one that you like, I'm sure your Dad's wife will like it very much too.

Good luck with the rest of your list!
