Make up is usually on my Christmas list, and usually it's the same stuff every year, so I'm looking for some inspiration to try something different!

What does your make up bag contain, what are your must haves?

My bag contains (and wear daily so all can't live withouts!)

YvesSaintLaurent Touche Eclat
Lancome Photogenic Lumessence foundation
The Body Shop bronzer/Benefit High Beam (wear one or the other)
Mac liquid Eye liner
Estee Lauder MagnaScopic mascara
Vasaline for my lips!

Bobbi Brown rouge pot for lips and cheeks
Mac lipstick,bronzer.
Rimmel mascara.

Nars orgasm blusher - am positively corpse like without it.

kidcreoleandthecoconuts · 26/11/2009 12:44

My make up bag contains lots of products that I don't use!
But most days I use-

Clinique almost makeup foundation
Clinique stay matte pressed powder
Guerlain black mascara

AuntieMaggie · 26/11/2009 12:52

I have got tons of make up and i vary what I wear depending on what mood I'm in but today and most days:

Foundation - usually estee lauder double wear light, but i've just bought avon anew age something foundation and it's quite good for only a fiver

Lancome version of touch eclait

Benefit moon beam

Bronzer - Boots No 7

Avon supershock mascara

Virgin vie eyeshadow (also love Boots No 7 and Benefit)

Avon lip gloss in tickled pink which is absolutely gorgeous - so silky smooth and not at all sticky!

MadameOvary · 26/11/2009 13:11

Papaw ointment - best lip balm ever
Clinique Uplighting - fab glow never before seen on my overly pale yellow-tinged skin.
Clinique concealer
Clinique eyeliner - stays put.
Benefit Benetint - gives a subtle lip outline that makes lips look bigger.

ChickandDuck · 26/11/2009 16:35

AuntieMaggie - I think the Moon Beam is similar to High Beam?

MadameOvary - Benetint is going on the list, had some ages ago and it was lovely!

Mac Shale eyeshadow;
Lancome eyeliner in grey;
Urban Decay primer Potion;
And I have just started using Beauty Flash Balm a couple of times a week and it is wonderful stuff.
The best mascara I've ever found is a Clinique one called Long And Pretty. And I like Urban Decay eyeshadows in Smog and Mildew!

Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser
Virgin Vie skin correcting loose powder
By Terry eye shadow
Chantecaille le stylo liquid eyeliner
Chantecaille mascara
Chantecaille Lip Gloss
Virgin Vie blusher
Chantecaille concealer

theoutdoorlifeforme · 26/11/2009 20:54

Bronzer. Currently got a Chanel one at the mo, very good for freshening up makeup at the end of the day so no need to cart all of it around.

cornsilkwearscorsets · 26/11/2009 20:57

laura mercier tinted moisturiser
chanel vitalumiere
touche ecalt
smashbox primer
beauty flash balm
lancome hypnose
prescriptives magic liquid powder
8 hour cream

(very low maintenance as you can see)

dairymoo · 27/11/2009 11:06

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser & Secret Camoflage Concealer
Benefit Bad Gal Mascara
Nars The Multiple in Portofino

And I do love Beauty Flash Balm but see it as more of a treat than a regular product.

echt · 02/12/2009 07:17

That Beauty Flash Balm - apparently it's the rice flour in it which tightens up the face.

purplepeony · 02/12/2009 09:09

If you like Flash Balm try Clinique moisture surge too- same kind of thing but IMO better- really plumps up skin.
