dress bought, shoes/tights dilema

Ok, I'm going to a dinner dance next w/e and have bought this
dress
I have a pair of black suade court shoes but don't know whether to wear these and a pair of black opaque tights or should I wear nude tights?? Or should I go the whole hog and buy new shoes too? I'd rather not if I don't have to.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Existing shoes could be ok depends on heel etc. Wouldn't go for nude tights - what abot black lacy /patterny ones?

Not pattern-y tights with the level of detail on that dress. I'd do black sheer or nude sheer, not opaque. With sheer tights court shoes prob ok although something sparkly would be nice...

See, I would wear opaques I think...more modern. Besides, I loathe sheer black tights and nude tights. But as other poster said, thre whole thing rides on the shoes. 'court' could mean sooo many things....

No to patterned. I would say black opaques, dark grey opaques or purple. Depends on the shoes though.

Sorry but I think sheer black ones could look a bit (whispers) 'tarty' with a dress like that.

CybilLiberty · 20/11/2009 20:13

J'agree. But we need to see the shoes
