How can I stretch leather boots? Help me, fashionistas!

I just had to buy these lovely platform boots from M&S, but they only had them in a size 6. I'm a 7. They're not that bad but they are pretty tight across the toes and perhaps a bit short.

I won't take them back! So how can I stretch them up to 1/2 a size (or more) bigger? Is there a really good way??

Thanks!

Dunno but you know that the only pain worse than foot pain is childbirth don't you....! Can't you get a 7 instead?

And I've got a cheek being on a thread calling for fashionistas LOL

Take them to a cobbler. They will have special shoe-stretching contraptions.

They have size 7 in stock on line and its 1p postage at the moment and finally use SNSNOV09 for 12.5% off.

Hello. Sounds like it will never work but my gran told me to do this with a pair of shoes I bought and it worked. Make the leather damp with warm water and stretch it between your fingers if possible, with boots I guess it may have to be using your foot. Wear them for a
while until they are dry or unbearable. I did this 3/4 times with my shoes and then they were perfect. Unfortunately broke the heel off them the second time I wore them out!

Thanks pink, but they only have taupe ones in stock in size 7. I saw the taupe ones today in the shop - the colour of a mushroom that'd been run over on a dirty road on a rainy day.

If you just get a warm damp cloth and "massage" the leather a bit, maybe even put them on first, and then wear them for a while. I think you should find they will stretch. Good luck!
