if i go to Faith, Next, River Islands etc they wont go past my calf muscle (half way up my leg)...if i go to Evans, they are massive!!

i have a 15.5 inc wide calves

or do i need to go on a website to have them made?

i find that if i go to a cheap shop - elthel austins especially, they fits me perfect but they arent leather.

many thanks

have you tried clarks? they do wider leg, which is bigger than tiny faith ones, but not as wide as evans

I have this problem too and I find Clarks often has stretchy ones and sometimes they are nice!

nancy75 · 18/11/2009 13:07

also marks and spencer might be worth a try, not looked this year, but they did do slightly wider fit last year

I got some non-leather ones from DorothyP. Black and quite generous in the leg.

You need Duo Boots! They have some really nice boots and all are leather, plus you specify your measurements.

I think they have a shop somewhere too.

These

yes ive tried Clarks the ones that have extendable calves but its not the top bit of the boots but its the bottom of my calves bit by my ankles i am having difficities with zipping it up.

havent looked in DP yet (the boots is gorgeous!) OR M&S yet. will have a pop in there.

the duo website..ill give that a go later.

i used to have stretchy ones years ago so may have to go back to that if all failed!!

i do sometimes i wish my legs were abit thinner instead of having solid legs so i can walk into a shop, pick any and walk out with them instead of thinking "Same problem again!!"

still at least once you've got the boots on you can't see the fat legs - that's what I always tell myself

OrmIrian · 18/11/2009 13:46

Sorry i didn't notice that you wanted leather. There aren't. My budget didn't stretch sadly.

I get laced AND zipped boots, so I can lace them up to my Amazonian calfs, and then just do them up by zip after. My faves are gorgeous, soft Tan leather, and I love the lace up effect on boots anyway. They have a lovely heel and make me feel FAB.

I would go with DUO aswell.

I have bought off of their site before (got some great black boots)
