Appropriate hair colour for 30 year old mum!!!

hello girls

am turning 30 on friday ...(and that is a WHOLE different thread lol)

and have been wondering what to do with my hair!!! at the moment it is shoulder length, naturally wavy frizzy and mid brown, which is my natural hair colour (luckily i do not have any greys - yet...!!)

i used to dye it a shiny black colour and have also been peroxide blonde, highlighted blonde and red!!! (not all at the same time, on seperate occasions!)

however, i want a change coz i feel my hairs a bit safe and boring at the moment, but don't know whether any of these colours would be appropriate for a 30 yr old mum of 2 (god - cant believe im typing that) esp the black coz i have heard it can be ageing, or would i just look a bit mutton????

any suggestions???

lucky you having no grey!!! Im not 30 till next year and i have to dye mine once a month as my greys awful!!!!!

I say dye it any colour you fancy, 30 is not old I always dye mine a dark brown colour as its a close match to my own colour and i cant be bothered with roots.

I am a 30 year old mother and have blonde hair, it is helped a little but I am naturally blonde anyhow. I always think sticking to what you have naturally and just enhancing that is what works best.

p.s 30 is NOT old

30 year olds don't need to start worrying about inappropriate hair colour do they?!

i guess what i am asking is what i can do hair wise to look younger....!

i am sure i have heard blonde highlights can help......

They can help but they cost to maintain. Im just growing mine out and my hairdresser has reccomended a light auburn colour as I am naturally light brown. I think I am going to go for that as brown just seems abit plain to me. I do agree with him when he said dark colours are aging, as is long hair (hence, I had it all chopped off last week!)

aww auburn sounds nice kittya.

i don't want short hair though just yet! i have spent the last year growing it
