Have just watched Mary Poppins a few thousand times after buying it for the dds and realised that this boot that I've been coveting for a while is actually a Mary Poppins boot

Off to find myself a lovely skirt with a bustle.

what would you wear that boot with?

( FWIW I dressed up as Mary Poppins for world book day, carpet bag and all and was amazed i had every item I needed for the whole costume in my wardrobe)

I actually started thinking that her fitted jackets and long skirts were rather lovely. Am rather envious if you had something like that.

Not so keen on the straw hat.

Oh yes, to answer the question, the reason I haven't bought the boots is that I can't work out what to wear them with. Was thinking work (trousers) but then you wouldn't see the buttons which would be such a shame.

Clearly need to get the whole outfit. Think I would look rather splendid at work actually
