Her FaTher could have passed away!

I think it sounds like a great idea, but no idea how to go about it.

Why do you think that BC?

I'm serious; my Dad did indeed pass away 9 years ago and I've dealt with most things by now, however I can't bring myself to part with his sheepskin coat. So I'm interested in finding a way to make it useable and enjoyable and to stop it gathering dust in my front porch.

Is that so unreasonable in today's throwaway-fashion world?
I, for one, still value real quality.

I think it's a lovely idea too give your Dads coat a new life

How about getting it made into a lifetimes supply of slippers? It'd be a shame to have it made into something that will inevitably go out of fashion.

It might be a long shot, but I suspect these people might be willing to help you if you go for slippers.

Thanks TTSP, that's interesting but ideally I'd like a gilet- I think I'd get some use out of it. There is one specialist cobbler in my town so he might have a lead- will ask tomorrow.
