Facials - what's worth the ££££

Do CACI facials really work? If not, what would you recommend?

Don't have ££ to burn, but just taken on some new clients so unexpectedly have a bit more money.

Do lots of work outside and don't get much sleep, so just look sort of grey and worn out, with patchy skin, sometimes dry sometimes spotty and I just look, well old and rubbish.

Am fairly clean living, take heaps of exercise and get tons of fresh air, also drink gallons of water so all good on that front.

Any suggestions please?!

I like Guinot Hydradermie facials - cost about £42 at my local salon, for 75 mins. You get a nice head/neck massage and some whizzy 'electrical currents' pushing the moisturiser in which obv you can't do at home. Skin looks plumped and refreshed, and is v relaxing.

(The 'can't do at home' factor is now critical for me - refuse to fork out for mani/pedis/hairpacks I can do just as well myself in front of the tv.)

Agree with wildfig's last comment - I have had lots of facials in the past that have been a complete waste of money because I could have done the same thing at home.
