Christmas list luxury items-what's on yours?

I am writing my Christmas list and want to put some luxury items on it!

I am thinking of some fingerless cashmere gloves.

I also want some classic black high heels - expensive ones which make me feel gorgeous (I can dream!).

I have been admiring the chunky snood style scarf things some women are wearing but haven't seen any yet.

I'd like some cosy slippers.

I'd like some slinky underwear and some slinky nightwear.

I've been looking at the Hush website but am not sure what I'd like from there.

What's on your Christmas list that I can feel about and put on mine?

I bought mine at one of the louboutin boutiques in Paris; site-wise I only know of netaporter and matches fashion who sell them. Why don't you treat yourself to a day out in Selfridges? Am sure you'd find loads of things to add to your Xmas list

monkeysmama · 09/11/2009 14:06

Haven't looked at Matches but will now. Selfridges is a good idea. Having said that I went last year around Christmas and had a mini crisis in the shoe section . Well, I saw a pair of YSL black heels I adored, with a very fine strip of silver through the heel (the perfect black heel search has being going on for years). Beautiful. Only it was rammed with a large group of SE Asian girls spending mega mega bucks and I couldn't get any help and ended up over heating and leaving.

Maybe an early morning visit is in order this year. If I had a pair I think I'd wear them every day .

i would love some Miller Harris perfume an Etsy gift voucher for megabucks and a Cerise Velvet sofa like the one from Graham and Green

There is a vast gulf between what I would like and what I am actually going to get. I love the tweed coat on the Brora site but think a pair of cashmere wrist warmers will be more suited to our budget . Although DH will tell me to wise up and get a pair from M&S...

LetThemEatCake · 09/11/2009 15:49

mm if you go on a Sunday morning it's pretty dead. Haven't been in ages but if nothing has changed, doors open at 11 and tills at 12. So you can browse, try and swoon before you buy. Doesn't start to heave until lunch, really.

Btw, my birthday is right on Christmas, so my giftlist is going to be a big'un. Double the norm. Not cos i'm greedy, mind.. Just cos xmas kids get double pressies. Haven't posted it yet because still pondering...

Loads of DVD's
Also some cashmere fingerless gloves but may give in and get them early, its too bloody cold now let alone in december

JANEITEluddite · 09/11/2009 19:40

Cashmere wrist warmers from M&S in lovely pale grey;
some Clarins stuff - have just got into them;
some lovely but not hideously expensive bubble bath (any recs?);
a new pashmina.

I deffo don't want a snood!

LetThemEatCake · 09/11/2009 21:55

On reflection, the greatest luxury I can think of for Christmas is not having to see my in-laws. Can I add that to my list???

squeaver · 09/11/2009 22:06

Smythson Erdem diary

Something from the Mulberry for Apple collection for my MacBook

A fabulous evening bag - any thoughts?

I am frequently adding to mine. These are now top. I am in love grin and dreaming.

I have also seen a small blossom tree I'd like and have added the Jigsaw snood to the list. I think I might put one of the VIP bags on my 2nd list which is a MM/dd joint list. I love lists.

I'm also after a Mulberry Bayswater, though might wait and see what the new Alexa bag is like. Does the Mulberry oak leather stain badly though?

And I really wantthese.

monkeysmama · 11/11/2009 09:08

Couldn't open your link propely SuzeMcG.

Today's addition to my list is a Roberts radio in red and some very beautiful espresso cups I haven't seen yet.
