It is not OK to wear pyjamas outside is it?

I keep seeing young women in pyjamas/coat/uggs combos. My feelings are that they should really go home and get dressed.

Do they smell if they never get out of their nightwear? Or do they have Day Jamas and Night Jamas? Is that what I should do?

I thought this was an Aussie thing. I see either half of a couple at the bottom of my road, standing next to the oval in PJs, Uggs and dressing gowns, watching their mutts have a shite in the morning.

Round my way this is teenage girls in very expensive brushed cotton Jack Wills PJs or similar copies. They look sweet - come on, it has to be better than the low-rise skinny jeans exposing a G-string choice - but I would not let my 14-year old go out like that. However, it is practically the uniform at her sister's sixth form college.

I wear pjs to take DH to work in the morning (he has to be there at 7.25). My mum is very and "what if there is an accident" (following clean knickers thought process obv). My thinking is - if there is an accident then I probably won't really care what I am wearing.

My babysitter comes round in hers every week and is happy to nip into takeaways/Tesco on the way. Saves her time though when we come home too late

when I was a student my housemate went to the cornershop wrapped up in her duvet

it was a studenty area though and frequently saw people running around half naked or in stop-out attire - shopkeepers were used to it

er, DUMMIES?!!! oh dear. rather disturbing that.

at katy's DH having a secret jama day!

So it sounds like it's a bit of a 'trend' thing going on. I must've missed that memo...

The dummy thing has been going on for a looooong time now. The PJ's thing is a newer trend. My 11 yo Ds looks at me with a smirk and a Simon Templer style raised eyebrow when we see girls walking around in their PJ's...praying he stays sensible. Praying very hard!!!
