A paie of Uggs.

I have a scra on one ankle which aches terribly if my feet get cold. I have bought a £10 of fake (very fake) Uggs as slippers and my feet have been so warm and so toasty I can't help thinking that I should ge a pair of the real McCoy for outdoors.

Help me please

ease yourself with some emus. Much cheaper, just as toasty.

Trust me, I'm an Aussie

motherlovebone · 08/11/2009 21:44

i think they are acceptable for medical reasons

AnyFuleKno · 08/11/2009 21:45

Do it. They're so ubiquitous now it's just like wearing jeans anyway.

LetThemEatCake · 08/11/2009 21:45

and only ever wear indoors.

Not for public ocular (??) consumption, either of 'em

marthastewart · 08/11/2009 21:45

Succumbed last year - bought two more pairs in New York due to price difference.

You can never go back!

sassy · 08/11/2009 21:49

Nooooo, this is NOT what I want to hear!

I must not buy Uggs

well, my first pair of just sheepskin boots are almost worn out after nearly 2 years of rain and miles of pushchair pushing and I am going to get another pair of boots even if I have to eat budget baked beans and scrape together the money to get them. Uggs / Emus / Just sheepskins etc are so boomin' warm and dry you will be converted.

FaithinQuestion · 08/11/2009 23:29

buy british instead

It.

Stay strong.

Please.

gigglewitch · 09/11/2009 00:19

I got some from Clarks. sheepskin, toasty, and good for my feet

SweetApril · 09/11/2009 11:15

Give in, give in, give in! I too resisted for years. Just got a pair on Saturday and they are so incredibly cosy. I suffer terribly from freezy cold feet and have always worn my normal leather boots with sheepskin insoles in winter. But these are just on another level. However, I have turned into the most boring person because all I want to talk about is my boots. I have Uggs but Celtic Sheepskin come highly recommended and a good bit cheaper.

WelliesAndPyjamas · 09/11/2009 12:20

also wavering, but for a rocketdog equivalent.

but do they make short-arses look even shorter and chunkier, do you think??

GentleOtter · 09/11/2009 12:23

They have a half price sale today

elsiepiddock · 09/11/2009 12:27

I have been an Ugg-hater, but have just bought some!

They are so warm and cosy. I still think they look hideous - but I have been brainwashed.
