Anyone know anything about dyeing a pair of satin shoes ?

I got a lovely pair for my wedding 2 yrs ago, they've sat in the wardrobe unworn since then. I thought if I could get them dyed black I'd wear them loads, but not sure how to go about it ?

It can be done as this is what my SIL had to do when we were bridesmaids, but she had to take it to a woman to do it, sorry i'm not much help am I?
