Black waistcoat for 10 yr old ds?

Ds has discovered "fashion"- he wants some skinny jeans for Xmas, and a black waistcoat.
Jeans no problem- but all the waistcoats I've seen come with either a matching shirt or (god forbid) a bow tie.
He just wants a waistcoat to look cool.
Any ideas?

they are dead easy to make - if you've got a sewing machine you could show him how to make his own!

How tall is he..New Look mens section have black waistcoats they do an xs size ..might be too big tho

(laughs hollowly at the thought of me sewing)- I can't sew a button on sadly.

He is a bit vertically challenged like his dad- wears age 9 jeans/tops.
