No, I know, but I'm only being honest. I'm sure you'll look fab I think I've just got a bit think against sequins.

earlyriser · 04/11/2009 20:09

The ribbon looks like her control pants are poking out the top!

TheBolter · 04/11/2009 20:10

bit of a thing against (bangs head against desk)

AitchTwoToTangOh · 04/11/2009 20:25

lol at control pants. it TOTALLY does.

are you sure you're not too old for this garment, al?

Ceebee74 · 04/11/2009 20:30

I love that skirt and am looking for something for my Christmas do.

But is it really as short as it looks in the photo (or has the model just got VERY long legs??) It says 'above the knee' in the description but that is a long way above the knee (and I do have a very good pair of pins but still too short for me )

traceybath · 04/11/2009 20:34

Looks so much nicer on the video than in the photos but M&S website makes everything look shite.

Wish the blue was a bit more navy as would look more expensive - its a bit too 'lady di blue' and I don't really do gold.

I like it though and think it would look fab with a cashmere jumper.

Bleenherbe · 04/11/2009 20:40

It was the silver I really wanted. think the blue is Lady di, exactly. So have to be gold. But wish the silver would return...

Bleenherbe · 04/11/2009 20:42

Someone fancy linking to some jumpers which would go? None of them funny cowl necklines, mind

Bleenherbe · 04/11/2009 20:55

OK what about this?

too frilly. i'd consider something like a really expensive deep v neck. except i wouldn't consider it at all because it even makes the model look like she's got a tummy, when i bet she's only eaten ritz crackers and smoked marly lights for the last ten years.

jalopy · 04/11/2009 21:06

Bleeherbe, that looks like someone didn't follow the washing instructions.

Bleenherbe · 04/11/2009 21:07

Surely you cover the tummy mit the long jumper? Deep V, hmmmm

squeaver · 04/11/2009 21:31

God I like it in the blue. What's going on with the hypnotising power of sequins???

But it's sooooo short. heels would have to be skyscraper

moodlum · 04/11/2009 21:35

Looking at that skirt, takes me to looking at this dress which I love. But is seriously out of stock.

Bleenherbe · 04/11/2009 21:46

Jalopy, I like a predistressed jumper - then I don't feel I have ruined it. I HAVE ORDERED THE SKIRT. Even if I never wear it I can stroke it and gaze into its sequinny eyes....

AlaskaNebraska · 05/11/2009 15:33

moodlum some stock in now look
you have to keep checking back with marks ime

bleen i went up and tried mine on last night.
the kids said it was ok " but only for a fancy dress party"

i then found out they meant one where you wear fancy clothes

I LOVE it. Were I not pregnant I would wear it to work with opaques and flats and a black sweater. Blue one. Drool and sad and jealous.

Maybe I could wear it below the bump.
