Can you recommend a gorgeous winter coat for me please?

I have decided to buy myself a winter coat. All my coats are jacket like coats so I want a longer proper winter coat. Was thinking of a brightly coloured one, to be used predominantly for the school run. Budget - under £100.

How bright do you want to go?

I tried this one on in the bright pink colour last week and the photo doesn't do it justice. Looked really good with the black boots and black tights I was wearing. I didn't like it with the collar up though. Looks better with less buttons done up and the collar left down. Think I'm going to have to go back and buy it this week.

Blue at Miss Selfridge.

Red at Warehouse.

A little over budget but a nice blue at Oasis.

Very pretty purple at Debenhams.

Another blue at USC. Look at the back view.

I think the Warehouse one is my fav although quite like Miss Selfridge one but is that a winter on or more of a mac?

I wondered the same about the Miss Selfridge one. Even zooming in doesn't help. I can't tell if it's woolly or more trench like.

A downside of online shopping sometimes.
