Thought you might say that. Can't really be arsed tbh. Don't like mid week meet ups

fishie · 03/11/2009 15:47

can't wear because looks like pyjamas as well as feels like.

cybil i am in traf square. but am going home in 5 mins. the rain has finished for the day. wear dress and long flat boots.

Disenchanted3 · 03/11/2009 15:48

I love the fact you just corrected MY spelling on another thread

AtleastbeCYBILtoeachother · 03/11/2009 15:48

Oh fishie we could have high 5'ed each other as we passed

fishie · 03/11/2009 15:50

have a look in anthropologie if you get a chance. too too dear but fun to poke around in. and japan centre has new food hall on lower regent st not piccadilly.

AtleastbeCYBILtoeachother · 03/11/2009 15:54

ok might try anthropologie. but am meeting insufferably bosy friend so we tend to do what she decides

AlaskaNebraska · 03/11/2009 17:02

Use your code alaska...I got teal pocket one for £24 last week thanks to the code. £24 not bad I thought. My MAHOOOOOOSIVE hooooters fit medium nicely (I have thought of a breast reduction but my NHS trust turned me down)

In summation...the code.

AlaskaNebraska · 03/11/2009 17:14

yes me too medium

oh too late now
am still wounded.

MarthaFarquhar · 03/11/2009 17:16

didn't see this thread before

sleeves were Not Right on me either.

also tried green one but nork:arse ratio all wrong (think problem was my body and not the dress in this case).

AlaskaNebraska · 03/11/2009 17:21

no kepe repeating it was the DRESS.
colour lovely imo

fishie · 03/11/2009 19:48

alaska. jeggings with jersey dress and then leggings with structured dress or tunic. not jersey with jersey.

i have got fantastic 60 denier footless tights which can appear with jersey dress. they aren't jersey you see.

isn't velvet just a differently fabriced version of the summer wallis dress / teal puffy sleeve one?

AlaskaNebraska · 04/11/2009 16:22

oh well thats me buggered then!
i dont have structured dresses.
am still wounded but hteidea i need a boob job CYBIL

OP posts:
AtleastbeCYBILtoeachother · 04/11/2009 16:26

You use your boobs as an excuse not to wear things all the time, just being constructive

Amandoh · 04/11/2009 17:10

Maybe a boob job is what the velvet dress calls for. I had mine done and dress looks fine.

Bit of surgery + Bit of scarring = £45.00 dress is wearable.

Slubberdegullion · 04/11/2009 17:17

You know I have been lurking away on this Wallis thread (and the others) and got myself into a right heightened state of excitement by you all. I ordered one of their sequined adorned dresses (original price £65, uber mega discount plus codes price £12) and was all ready to burst into the thread with much joy and 'gwyneth at the oscars' thanks.

It arrived today.

Jesus wept. It was the most fugly thing I have ever tried on in my life (even worse than the yellow Australian rugby fleece teamed with the lovely voles).

It wis so bad I'm not even going to link it.

I am taking it right back to the store tomorrow. I need that dress out of my life.

sorry. I so wanted to join in with the Wallis warm feelings.

AlaskaNebraska · 04/11/2009 17:46

oh Slubs

sorry.
cybil do i?
well we have to be careful you know thighs tits whatever

OP posts:
GuyFawkesIsMyLoveSlave · 04/11/2009 17:48

Oh, you must link after a build-up like that...

Slubberdegullion · 04/11/2009 18:53

Guy, I just can't, the horror and disappointment is too great.

If it helps it must be under a subsection of dresses on the website for the deluded and weak of mind.

Slubberdegullion · 04/11/2009 18:55

BUT

I'm sure on other women it will look lovely and spot on.

FabioTwitterCat · 04/11/2009 19:04

Lady don't downsize your norks.
You need them to even out your hump.
Without them for ballast you'll topple over.

noddyholder · 04/11/2009 19:18

do you like this?Skims everywhere and does have the required sequins I saw it on someone working in there and looked good on her and she had boobs

bonfirewithaheartofgold · 04/11/2009 19:21
