Handwash that doesn't rip my hands to shreds?

Anybody suggest any handwash that would do the trick?
Have tried Simple, Pears, Cuticura, E45 (too greasy and don't feel clean) Nivea, Tescos mild etc.
Having 2 DC's and a messy house means I am a bit of a handwasher, especially when cooking and my hands are really suffering now.

I always use handcream when I leave the house and before I go to bed too but my hands look like they belong to a 60 year old, the cuticles are all ragged and my nails are splitting too!

I have Johnsons baby soap - it isn't a handwash, it's a bar of soap but you can wash your hands loads and they will be fine. I also keep by the sink a "stronger" handwash (carex dispenser) for when I have done something "dirtier", like clean a bin or whatever.

For crappy cuticles BURTS BEES Lemon Cuticle butter.

How many times a day are you washing your hands? if even the mildest ones are making your hands sore it sounds like it might be too much. A few germs never hurt anyone!

obv the carex will tear up your hands if overused, but if you just have something like food on your hands, you use the baby soap. Carex only when necessary.

This stuff is lovely, I use it as a shower gel and it keeps my skin softer than anything else. I think they also do it in a bar form, but liquid is easier for a quick wash IMO.

Radox handwash with aloe vera and cucumber is good - it's on special offer at Tesco's just now at £1, 4 for the price of 3.

Have a look in your local health shop. Jasons and Faith In Nature both do good hand washes that don't contain SLS, the chemical in most soaps/washes that dries out your skin.

Burts Bee's do 2 really good handwashes too.

i love the Tracle Moon range they sell it in Tesco the bottles all have lovely whimsical stories on them which i like and they smell fab and work great

I would second Burt's Bees. I haven't tried the handwash, but I use the shampoo and it doesn't trigger my psoriosis, and I use the baby shampoo on the kids and it doesn't trigger DS's eczema. AFAIK the whole range is extremely gentle on the skin.
