Just want to brighten my hair, it's a bit of a mousey blondey colour at the moment. Any tips? Have never done this before!

If it's mousey and you want to lighten it I would personally go for highlights at the hairdressers.

dont buy dark blonde, like i did last week. it is quite a dark brown

i buy the 10m minute ones as i find 30 mins quite a long time yo wait...

agree about the highlihgt though

i've been home dying my mousey brown/blonde hair for years. I go darker - a mid brown, as it suits my colouring better than going blonder. it is generally easier to go a bit darker at home

I am currently favouring Perfect10 (not excell 10) and recently did light cool brown which was very light - almost a dark blonde.

put a thick cream round your hairline ears, back fo neck etc to prevent staining.

good luck!

Not sure I would suit brown!

Thanks for the advice about the thick cream though. I know the hairdresser would be the best option but I'm trying to save some money and it's soooooo expensive!
