It is. DH and I are supposed to be going out for dinner and then drinks this evening to celebrate our anniversary. I have no idea what to wear, can't stand feeling cold and damp.

Humph

PeterAndresSkidmarks · 24/10/2009 12:57

Yes I take the cheap brolly as well. If it's cold I stick a think cardi in my handbag for the way home as well. No-one cares what you're wearing in the taxi queue.

francaghostohollywood · 24/10/2009 12:57

I have nice coats, to be honest.

stakethroughtheheartofgold · 24/10/2009 13:06

am keeping everything crossed for a dry night - can't afford taxis so will be lots of walking, going to a gig so no handbag and will be checking coat in so won't take anything can't afford to lose.

CybilAviationAuthority · 24/10/2009 13:08

wherefore are you going?

onepieceoflollipop · 24/10/2009 13:09

It's the frizzy hair that gets me down. Obviously I would never wear my trusty kagoule on a night out , but I can understand why ladies used to wear those rain bonnets. Remember those, came in a little package and you tied them under your chin. (I have not personal experience of them, my mum granny used to have one) It came in useful once when I was sick on the bus.
